If you are locked out of your online banking, you can quickly and safely reset your password by using our automated service. This service is available 24/7.
When resetting your password, make sure you have a pen and paper, and access to a laptop or PC as your temporary password needs to be updated via Open24.ie and cannot be updated in app. Please note: Our agents do not have access to your passwords and will not be able to assist with the re-set of your password. Following the below steps will ensure that you are able to access your online banking.

If you use the PTSB mobile app, reset your password by logging in and accessing “Settings and Security” via the homepage icon or navigation menu (see images below). Your mobile device will need to be the one registered to your customer profile.
Alternatively, call us on +353 (1) 212 4152. Be sure to have a pen and paper handy to write down your temporary password. Please wait 5-10 minutes before you reset your password via the website.

Please note: Your temporary password lets you access Open24 on a desktop or laptop computer. Once you set up a new password, you can then access Open24 through our app too.
If you have lost your registered device, and have a new mobile number, you will need to update the registered number by calling 0818 818 719. If you have lost your registered device, and don’t have a password, you will need to call us on 0818 818 719 to receive a temporary Open24 password. You can then “Reset or Create” your own password via the Open24 desktop site.
