Quick Balance set up

We've introduced Quick Balance to the PTSB app to make it easier for you to check your balance on the go. You can now view your account balance without logging in, removing an extra step while keeping the same level of security and control -Available on version 12.7 and above.

What is Quick Balance?

Quick Balance is a new feature in the PTSB app that gives you an instant, view-only snapshot of your account balance. Once enabled, just press and hold the Quick Balance icon on the PTSB app home screen to see your balance without logging into the app.

Important information
  • Quick Balance is turned off by default. You'll need to enable it under "Settings and Security" in the PTSB app. Learn more about setting up Quick Balance.
  • You can choose one eligible account, either a compatible Current Account (single or joint) or a Savings Account.
  • It's a view-only feature, so you can't make payments or transfers through it.
  • You can turn it off anytime in the app under "Settings and Security".

How Quick Balance works

Once Quick Balance is enabled, open the PTSB app and press and hold the Quick Balance icon on the weclome scrren. You'll instantly see two figures on screen:

  • Available balance: This is the amount you can spend right now. This excludes pending transactions.
