PTSB App updates

We value customer feedback and as a result, we’ve made some changes to our PTSB app to bring our customers a smoother, faster and more intuitive banking experience. With a quicker login, refreshed design and improved navigation, managing your everyday banking is now quicker and easier than ever.

Your new app is being rolled out gradually. If you don’t see these updates just yet, they’ll be with you soon.

 

What’s new in the PTSB App?

Faster login

Log in to your app quicker than ever, using biometric login or your Personal Access Number (PAN).

 

Easier navigation and new design

We’ve added new features and updated navigation, so it’s easier to find your way around the app. You can now:

  • Download your transactions directly from your app. You can find this option under your balance information on your account. If you require transactions that are from more than 12 months ago, you can get these from Open24 Online Banking (accessing Open24 Online Banking cannot be done on a mobile device).
  • Quickly find what you need with new search and filtering tools in your app. You can find this option under your balance information on your account.
  • Access your BIC and IBAN from your home screen within 2 taps. You can find this as a clickable button under your "Available funds".
  • Transfer funds between your accounts, or to another bank by selecting the "Transfer" button located on the bottom menu bar of your home screen.

 

Updated balance layout

Your new account screen layout makes it easier to find your current and available balance, with a new and more prominent display.

  • Current balance is now the main balance shown, in a bigger font at the top of your account screen. This is the total money in your account, not including pending transactions such as Debit Card payments or any approved Overdraft facility. It includes cheques in clearing.

  • Available funds is displayed just below your Current balance. This is the money you have available to spend. If you have an approved Overdraft facility, this will be included in your Available Funds.

 

Credit Card updates

If you have a PTSB Credit Card, you’ll now see your next payment due date and available credit on your account home screen. If you want to see more such as your outstanding balance, simply tap on your Credit Card Account - from here you can pay your bill, review your transactions and more.

What do I need to do?

  • I already have the PTSB App: Your app should automatically update to version 12.0. You can check if you have the latest app version by visiting the App Store on iOS or the Google Play Store on Android.
  • I don't have the PTSB App: Download the app today for Android or iOS by scanning the QR code below or by going to the App Store or Google Play Store.

Face ID/Touch ID log in

Biometric authentication is now available as a log in method in your PTSB App. By using your unique fingerprint or face ID, you get convenient access to your everyday banking.
