Zippay is on the way to your PTSB app - it’s a quick, easy and secure way to send and receive money using just a mobile number.
Zippay is now rolling out in the PTSB app on a phased basis. This means customers will get access to Zippay at different stages over the next week or so. As soon as it’s ready for you, we’ll let you know with a message in your PTSB app “Message Centre”.
As the rollout is phased, you may receive Zippay payments before the service appears in your app - this may happen if someone who already has access sends you money.
Need to send a friend money for dinner or split the bill? Zippay lets you send, request or split payments using just a mobile number, whether you’re with PTSB, AIB or Bank of Ireland, if the other person has Zippay, it’s that simple.
with Zippay you can:

Send payments of up to €1,000 immediately.

Request payments of up to €500.

Divide a payment request with up to 30 other people.
To use Zippay, you’ll need to have version 12.10 of the PTSB app installed.
If you have received a letter or email from us about Zippay, you may already be automatically enrolled and will only need to complete a few steps to start using Zippay.
If you haven’t received a letter or an email, don’t worry - if you are a personal banking customer, over the age of 16, with an eligible PTSB Current Account and have downloaded the PTSB app, you can enrol by following a few additional steps.
