Phone numbers claiming to be from PTSB

We are aware of fraudulent text messages and phone calls in circulation claiming to be from PTSB. Here's what you need to know:

  • PTSB will never contact you from a private phone number.
  • Text messages from PTSB asking you to respond with a Y/N will only ever come from sender ID 50331.
  • If you're asked to call a number, only contact our Fraud Department on 01 669 5851 for suspected unusual activity. Lines are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Do not click on links or call back any numbers provided in suspicious messages. 

 

Protect yourself from fraud with PTSB Protect

We have added an extra layer of anti-fraud protection to the PTSB app to further protect our customers.

This new opt-in feature offers much needed protection against criminals who trick customers into sharing security information by sending deceptive messages with links - something PTSB will never do. Available on version 10.2 and above.
