PTSB customers can now send outgoing SEPA Instant Credit Transfers from their PTSB payment accounts using our Online Payment Form and by visiting your selected branch.
SEPA Instant Credit Transfers are payments that process within 10 secs once the payment has been sent by PTSB.
Since October 2025, PTSB customers have been able to make SEPA Instant Credit Transfers through the PTSB App and through Open24 Online Banking.
We are also adding the Verification of Payee security check on SEPA payments from our Branch network. VoP checks the name you enter for the payee against the name held by the receiving bank and tells you if the name matches or not. This helps you make sure your money is going to the right person or business.
VoP will apply to SEPA Credit Transfers and SEPA Instant Credit Transfers and when setting up new payees.
