  • 15 charities from across the country shortlisted with public vote to choose final 6 now, open until 22 February 2026
  • Bank hosts nationwide ‘PTSB Community Coffee Break’ initiative on 05 February in over 100 locations nationwide
  • PTSB has contributed more than 2.5 million Euro to Irish community organisations to date

PTSB has today launched PTSB Community, the Bank’s Community Funding Campaign for 2026. The public vote to select the six PTSB Community partners for 2026 is now open, and the Bank is encouraging members of the public to support their local charities by voting through the PTSB website or PTSB App.

The launch is also marked by a nationwide ‘PTSB Community Coffee Break’ initiative taking place on 05 February, in over 100 locations nationwide. PTSB is inviting people to drop in, enjoy a coffee, and learn more about the shortlisted charities. The PTSB Community Coffee Break takes place in participating cafés between 8am and 10am, as well as in PTSB’s 98 branches nationwide between 10am and 12pm.

Following a PTSB colleague-led nominations process, 15 charities from across the country have been shortlisted for public vote. This includes five charities from Dublin and surrounding counties, five from the North and West, and five from the South and East of Ireland. The two charities who receive the highest number of votes in each region will become the official PTSB Community partners for 2026. Voting closes on 22 February and the public are encouraged to support the charity of their choice by voting at www.ptsb.ie/Community or in the PTSB App.

PTSB’s Head of Sustainability, Courtnee Kyle, said:

“PTSB Community is about bringing people and communities together for social good. For us, it’s about supporting the work of charities that strengthen towns, neighbourhoods and families across Ireland, helping them to scale their impact where it matters most.

This year, we’re proud to once again launch the PTSB Community public vote, encouraging the people of Ireland to help us select our partners for 2026. We’ve seen first-hand how this support can make a real difference in our communities, and we’re excited to build on that momentum and make further progress in the year ahead.”

To date, PTSB Community Funding campaign has already contributed more than €2.5 million to a variety of community organisations, supporting vital work at local and national level across the country.

Last week, the Bank provided €270,000 in funding to its six 2025 PTSB Community partners: The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust, Women’s Aid, Breakthrough Cancer Research, Sanctuary Runners, Accessible Counselling Tullamore and Cystic Fibrosis Ireland.

PTSB ambassador and presenter, Eric Roberts, who also welcomed the launch, said:

“Local charities play a vital role in supporting communities across Ireland. PTSB Community gives people a meaningful way to get behind good causes close to home and helps charities continue their essential work where it’s needed most.”
