Unfortunately, funerals are a large and unexpected expense. It's easy to be caught unaware. It is possible to release funds from the account of the deceased to pay for funeral expenses. These funds may be released before the formal administration of the estate is complete.
Funds can also be released for the payment of reasonable funeral director’s expenses and funeral related expenses.
