The Sandbox enables you to test your application’s integration with our suite of APIs. It is available to authorised TPPs or  those who have applied for authorisation. It will provide the ability to test functionality such as:

• Secure connection
• Exchange of qualified certificates
• Initiate a Payment
• Access account information
• Request confirmation of funds
• Standard API error messages
• Emulation of SCA responses

eIDAS Certificates

In order to test the exchange of qualified certificates in the Sandbox environment, you will require a qualified certificate for electronic seals ("QSealC") and a qualified web application certificate ("QWAC") described in ETSI Technical Standard 119 495, issued by a trusted service provider within the meaning of Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 ("eIDAS"). The Sandbox also supports the option of testing components of the APIs without the use of eIDAS or PSD2 test certificates but to complete full end to end testing of your application’s integration with our suite of APIs requires the use of certificates.

Developer Portal

Accessing the Sandbox requires enrolment on the Developer Portal. The Developer Portal enables you to:

• Explore the API Catalogue and view the API Swagger files
• Register your Application on the Sandbox and receive a API Key and Shared Secret

To access the Developer Portal, please complete the enrolment form. We will contact you within two working days of your form submission.

• Please note where your organisation is not yet authorised, we may request you to provide the conformation your organisation has received from your National Competent Authority that your application for authorisation is in progress

Once Enrolled

Once you have completed the enrolment process, your organisation and the nominated contacts will be registered on the Developer Portal.  Your nominated contacts will be setup as the “Organisation’s Administrator”.

The nominated contacts will receive an e-mail providing a link which will enable them to log in and create their password. They will then be able to

• invite other developers from your company to self-register on the Developer Portal
• register your application on the Developer Portal and request a API Key and Shared Secret
