Nicole Turner

Paralympic Swimmer

Nicole won a silver medal in the Youth category of the British Internationals on her senior international debut in 2015.

In 2016 she won three medals at the European Championships and, despite her youth (age 14), reached five finals at the Paralympics in Rio, where her best placing was fifth in the S6 50m butterfly.

In 2018 she won silver in 50m butterfly in the European Championships in Dublin. In 2019 she won bronze in 50m butterfly at the World Championships in London. In 2021 she won medals in all four of her events at the European Championships in Madeira.

Turner finished 8th in the final of the women’s 50m freestyle recording a personal best in the heats and in the final coming in at 35.29 to take 8th place overall.

She then went on to win a silver medal in the S5 50m butterfly final, touching home in 36.30 seconds.
