From a Vietnamese village to becoming an Olympian and one of Badminton’s brightest stars, Nhat Nguyen knows all about perseverance.
He arrived in Ireland with his family at the age of 6 and settled in Belturbet, Co Cavan where he and his family were embraced by the community. Nhat later moved to Dublin and competed in his first Olympics at Tokyo 2020.
He says his big motivation is to make his parents proud with his sporting achievements.
