Zippay is available in your PTSB app - a quick, easy and secure way to send and receive money using just a mobile number.
If you haven’t used it yet, you’ll find it in the “Transfer” section of your app whenever you need it. There’s no need to set up a new payee or know their IBAN - just use their mobile number. It’s that simple.
Need to send a friend money for dinner or split the bill? Zippay lets you send, request or split payments using just a mobile number, whether you’re with PTSB, AIB or Bank of Ireland, if the other person has Zippay, it’s that simple.
With Zippay you can:

Send payments of up to €1,000 immediately.

Request payments of up to €500.

Divide a payment request with up to 30 other people.
If you’re over the age of 16, have an eligible personal PTSB Current Account and have downloaded the PTSB app, you can start using Zippay in just a few simple steps:
Download the app today for iOS or Android by going to the App Store or Google Play Store. Having trouble setting up the PTSB app? You can follow our step-by-step app setup guide.
The first time you use Zippay, you’ll be asked to allow access to your contact list so you can send money quickly to people you know. If you don't provide access, you can enable access to your contacts later in the “Settings” of your mobile device.
If you have multiple eligible Current Accounts, your default account for receiving Zippay payments is automatically set to the account you use the most. You can still send and request payments from your other accounts. You can view and change your default account in the “Settings and Security” section of your PTSB app at any time.
